This policy applies to consumer health data collected from Washington and Nevada residents, and from anyone whose data is collected in those states, by Gavia Health LLC.
Categories of consumer health data we collect. Symptom entries (bowel movements, pain, fatigue, sleep, hydration, activity, weight); nutrition and food entries; medication names, doses, schedules, and history; flare episodes; diagnosis, condition, and surgical details; care-team provider information; mood entries and responses to the PHQ-2, PHQ-9, and GAD-7 screening instruments; Apple Health readings (steps, active energy, exercise minutes, sleep, weight) if you connect Apple Health; document metadata; and generated health reports.
Sources. You, directly, through the app; Apple Health, if you connect it.
Purposes. To provide the Gavia service to you: displaying your own data, generating reports and reminders, and, when you invoke them, AI features. We do not use consumer health data for any other purpose.
Collection and sharing. We collect consumer health data only with your consent, given when you accept our Privacy Policy and again by the act of logging each entry. We share it only with the processors listed in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy, who store or process it on our behalf under contract. We do not share consumer health data with any affiliate, and we have no affiliates.
Sale. We do not sell consumer health data and will not sell it. Any future sale would require your separate, signed authorization under Washington law, which we do not intend to seek.
Your rights. You may confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, access it, obtain a list of the third parties with whom we have shared it, withdraw consent, and have it deleted. Exercise these rights in the app (export and delete) or by emailing privacy@gaviahealth.com. We respond within 45 days. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will respond to the appeal within 45 days and, if we deny it, tell you how to contact the Washington Attorney General.
